The basic nursing assistant proficiency examination is the State-approved competency evaluation, with both written and manual skills components. Our program requires the student to complete a minimum of 160 hours of training and successfully demonstrate 22 manual resident care skills. Satisfactory completion of the course provides eligibility to take the CDPH-established competency written examination for State certification as a certified nursing assistant.

The course content is delivered through lectures and instructor demonstrations, exposing students to actual nursing procedures and techniques used in the clinic setting. Knowledge evaluation is continuous throughout our program by the use of tests and student demonstrations related to the course content presented in the lecture.
The official Nurse Assistant Certificate will be mailed to successful examinees from the California Department of Public Health upon completion of a criminal background check.

Anyone working in the healthcare world would know that is a very exciting field, and there are certainly all sorts of paths that you could follow if you would like to start a career within the nursing industry.
The CNA position starts out with a nurse training program that is usually given at a local vocational school, college, or nursing school.
After you finish training, you will have a short certification exam to take, which typically is around 4 hours long and is made up of written questions as well as a practical test.

If you have a passion for this job, are committed and dedicated to helping those around you, then this Certified Nursing Assistant Training will lead the way for you.
